Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders
The Licensing Act 2003 requires all sales of alcohol on licensed premises must be made by or be authorised by a Personal Licence Holder. A premises licensed to sell alcohol must also have a nominated Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) named on the licence as the point of accountability. A DPS must hold a personal licence.
One of the requirements in applying for a Personal Licence is that the applicant must hold an accredited qualification. This one day course meets this requirement.

Who can take the qualification ?
As it is a requirement that Personal Licence applicants are over 18 years old, only those over 18 may sit the course.
How will I be assessed ?
The course is assessed by a 40 question multi choice examination that is externally marked and certificated by the Awarding Organisation. The pass mark is 28 out of 40.
